The Art of Being Content

Are you content?
Really, I want you to have a think about this question and answer it honestly. This is not an easy task.
Almost daily, I have conversations with a neighbour, colleague, old friend, local cafe owner, and there is usually some hint of a place we would rather be.
When we earn this, we can do this. When I go there, it will be easier to do that etc.
Society puts a lot of pressure on us these days to be your best, earn as much as you can, own certain material possessions and be qualified in multiple disciplines. If you are lucky, you will be taught the really important things such as being honest, caring and socially responsible.
Striving for more, and motivating ourselves to achieve are great qualities. However.....
What if, along with these goals, we make room for enjoying where we are currently at in our life?
Some may call this mindfulness, some would say it is being content.
I challenge you to stop and enjoy all the wonderful opportunities you have right in front of you without getting swept up in the vortex which is our future.
Mindfulness comes into this, what would help you get to a place of content?
